Alright guys my 2150 finally came in. I've bout got everything hook up, but have a couple of questions that I'm sure someone on here can help me with.
I bought this from the eBay guy "Gronk performance"
He sent me a new breather and and breather housing, along with a vented breather for the valve cover.
In his distructions he says to hook the pcv up the the brake booster, and to hook the vented breather up the the port on the back of the carb.

I don't have a brake booster (1982 CJ7 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l ).

1) I tied the pcv into the port on the back of the carb. Is this ok
2) what do I do about the vented breather for the valve cover, some I'm having to use the port on the carb for the pcv?
Buy a non vented breather I guess that's what you'd call it one of those that looks like a little air filter sitting up there?

Most any auto repair manuals and on the net should show you how to set up a positive crankcase ventilation system. The system starts at the pcv valve in the valve cover going into the carb. The valve cover should also have a vented breather with a filter of some sort on it. It does not need to go into the air cleaner, but going from there can be used to filter air. I would also suggest an egr valve as it will cool down the heat in the combustion chamber. In your state there might be some type of emissions inspection, then you would have to go by what is required. I would think the brake booster would have a dedicated vacuum source.

I'm in La so about the only requirements is to crank and stay running to pass inspection. Lol
We are putting a roof on my moms house today so hopefully I'll be able to study it a little more this afternoon
