I'm trying to mount an original hitch on my CJ. I can't get the bolts loose that go up through the springs to the frame. There's one on each side and it's the bolt closest to the back of the bumper if you're looking at it. Are these threaded into the frame or is there a nut on the other side? Is there any reason I can't just cut these off with the torch and put new bolts in? Or am I asking for trouble?
