I've seen this a couple times, and was curious as to the benefits of having the master cylinder on the frame rail?
How would you access it once the tub is on?
Your project looks great, and I've been following it for a little while. It's given me some ideas, and motivation to get through my frame off resto. Nice build!

Mine on my 68' is on the brake booster (PO installed Power Brakes), I just assumed that was the stock location. Maybe it changed after that. I wonder if when I replace my brake lines, if it would be easier to install it on the frame?I have the master cylinder mounted on the frame rail because that is the original location. I'm not sure how that can benefit anything...
Originally, the floor pan had an access panel to get to the MC...But I'm going to have enough room underneath to use a mirror to check the level.
Thanks for the support!![]()

Excuse my ingnorance on this brake thing, I think I just answered my own question after doing some research. Only manual brakes can have the MC mounted on the frame, Power Brakes needed to be mounted on the brake booster. See, I just learned something else from your build post! Thanks.

...And yes hazz your coming along on that little gem looking good
