That sure doesnt look like your typical Ohio Jeep anymore. :) Very nice.

Update:

Painting was put of until tomorrow. Instead, we assembled the front clip. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Nice headlights and buckets. Where did you find them? Brand?

Whole darn thing is nice!

hazzo1, you and your dad really know how to build jeeps.
Excellent job!:notworthy:

As I've said before "beautiful Jeep". The bumpers, you made or aftermarket??

Thank you! My dad and I built the bumpers. ;)

We didn't get the headlight bulbs installed until after I took all of these pictures....But the assemblies and buckets are original. Just cleaned up and a fresh coat of paint and clear.

It's been a while guy. Your killing me with the suspense!!

Sorry about that. haha

My dad has been traveling a lot recently and I have more fun when I'm working on the Jeep with him...ha

But here is a small update...

My dad and I pulled the Transmission and the Transfer Case out Saturday afternoon to fix a leak we had between the Transmission and the bell housing. We found the oil was weeping out of a pressed in plug on the front on the case. We used some silicone and a homemade gasket to try to correct it....We'll find out if it worked after we top off the Transmission with oil...

We discovered a water leak while we were getting the cooling system ready...There is a steady stream of water leaking from the driver's side water pump port behind the timing cover....Looks to have the wrong gasket installed....Woo...

I started to refinish the set of aluminum wheels we have, but I can't see myself restoring these wheels by hand...So I have a buffer pad set coming from Eastwood. Should make things much less tedious.

But good news is that we are getting very close to firing the engine. I can't wait to finally hear this thing run!
