One of my customers is trying to recreate his teenage Jeep. I need to figure out the color and code as well as a stripe kit if one exists. They only pictures he has are these. He's pretty sure it's an 85/86 but could be an 84

I can't get the pictures to load stay tuned.

Reminds me of a CJ5 that our neighbor parked in our side lot when I was a kid. Sadly, his son was killed in a rollover crash and he couldn't bear to see the Jeep, so Dad offered to store it for quite a long time. It was pretty mangled like this one.

I think those stripes are supposed to mimic the Laredo stripes. But, it doesn't have the hood script or stripes, the stripes going up the side of the front fender, or the stripes on the nose of the front fenders.
My guess is those are painted stripes as part of a paint job from back in the '90s or so.

These guys make the decal kits. Heard they were good quality... (Link)-> Phoenix Graphix 1985-86 Jeep Laredo Decal Kit -<

The color looks like the Jeep "Garnet Metallic".

No. It was a like new Jeep when he bought it in 85/86. And wrecked it (roll over) in 88

He wants to paint his current CJ to mimic that one.
