You seem to bet putting quite a load on that axle housing that has a history of being weak and too thin of tubes. There are mods that can be done to support the demands that you are applying with 37s and 4.88s, other than the one piece axles.

IVe got a buddy that has the electric ox actuator and loves it..

Yeah, well I really don't go hard the on trails anymore, I mostly take the kids on day trips up to the Rim lakes area. Other than the locker going south on me, that axle has been pretty tuff. Also I'm glad to hear some positive feedback from someone that owns an E-OX-Lock. Thanks for that!

How about some background on this. The big selling point from Ox in the beginning was the cable actuated locker. I had heard they were hard to adjust. Dish the dirt. :D

I have one, without the electric solenoid, It took all of 15 minutes to adjust. I don't know if I would ever want the switch. It sounds trick but just one more thing to not work some where in the sometime. Looking forward to the wright up.

I think one of the reasons we all drive cj's is they are still mechanical beasts, without a lot of gismos.

That being said, I have an Eaton ELocker in the front of mine and love it so far. (just put it in this spring.)
Everyone I know with an Ox has been happy with it, I'm sure you will be to.:chug:

I,ve been running the OX lockers with the electric sevro in the rear for about two years now. I liked it so much that I put one in the front last year. The set up was not that hard and the only problem I've had is the switch for the rear servo dosen't work all the time but, I think that is my fault. I may have dammage the switch installing it for the third time. Can't make up my mind where to put it.:D

Thanks for the info, I'm still waiting for the parts from 4-Wheel parts. So where did you decide to put it? I need to get that figured out.

You need it somewhere you can reach easy when you have your seatbelts on. Mine is between the seats .
