Hello
My TF727 is leaking and I need to replace the gasket&filter. Does anyone have any tips?

Thx

Few Transmission pans have drainplugs so have a pretty big pan ready to catch the fluid. You may want to lay plastic down and keep some rags near by in case you miss a bit. You have to drop it by loosening bolt by bolt. My garage floor angles naturally toward the rear so I put it at the rear of the pan. You can achieve that by jacking it up and using jackstands to hold the Cj up. That will let the fluid flow better for you.

I used a rubber style gasket with a very thin coat of RTV. I also tightened the pan with a torque wrench as I have a tendency to overtighten bolts like this. No leaks yet. :)

What Pete said.
The Transmission will also keep dripping for days, so be prepared to work with fluid still dripping on you.
