Not quite an electrical question, but its an electrical gauge. Anyone know if this can be fixed? Or do I need a new tachometer? If fixable, how? Crazy glue?
OK,
So just the housing has come loose?
Is it Plastic or Metal?
JB weld makes a Two Part epoxy.
One for Metals. And another for Plastics. Very good stuff.
1986 CJ7 Laredo:

NP435 Trans, Dana 300 T-case w/twin stick

I just went out and checked my tach.
Mine is a white-ish color and it seems like the shell is a hard polyethylene, or a pvc. Either way, I’d say a good two-part epoxy would work for the mend.
I think that shell is only to protect anyway.
