Yeah that throttle set up is wacky. Those clips and filters are pretty easy to find.

Actually, I was letting the 4 point harness belts "Relax" stretched over the Lazy Boy before installing on the Timber Cruiser.
That quick release buckle definitely would be sticking in the middle of your spine....
It was the only picture I could find quickly to post.

I would replace Both.
Brakes are "High" on my Reliability Chart of Makeover projects.
The one on the Right looks like it got down to "Railroad Brakes"....
Steel on Steel. It is really deformed and is why it would not compress anymore.

Love your chairs. Even a couple for Friends to come over and Kibitz, drink your beer, and do very little helping ....LOL

The red ones are the ones that came with the Jeep. Wish they were brown. I don't even know if they are Jeep seats haven't seen that pattern in any of the pics I've see of seats.

They might be jeep seats, Some step brother like maybe even a Cherokee. You guys are comfortable in your garage. I’m to cramped up with a water heater and a gun safe.

I'm confused. I am looking at the front leaf spring mounting plate on my Jeep. It has one shock mounting stud on it and all the new ones I looked at have two studs on them. I have to replace the drivers side mounting plate as the shock mounting stud is bent. But I don't want to have 1 side with two studs and one side with 1. Now the plates I took off the rear are in good shape just need cleaned up and painted could I use them on the front?

Also, some later models used the second stud for the Anti-Sway Bar Bracket Mount. (Dog Bone)

Could I use the rear mounts on the front? Clean them up and paint them of course and get new u-bolts.
No, while the axle tubes are close they are different diameters.

ok so will have to order the ones that have the two studs on them. Answers that question. Next question. What shocks? Want a quality shock but don't need a severe off roading shock. No lift.

Do you have two mounts on the frame? Even if you do, you can easily just use one shock since you're going stock
As for what brand that is personal preference. Again, since you're doing stock any replacement shock from an auto parts store will work (such as Monroe) because they are inexpensive.
BUT! Measure the distance from the lower to the upper mounting stud (center) and be sure whatever shock you by is the correct extended and compressed length.

Please still measure the distance between studs and be sure whatever you buy fits the measured length.
