T-176 4 Speed Question....

Hello all,
Was talking to the owner of a potential Jeep I am going to look at this weekend, a 1985 CJ7 with the 4 speed T-176 .
The owner states that sometimes the Transmission will stick, and you have to go to reverse then back into first when this happens.
He did state it has never happen while driving, only while going into or out of reverse or from a parked position.
I've read most of the comments on the worn shift forks, and lining up the gears, and the worn shifter, which all seems easily replaced from the top of the Transmission .
Is there anything else that I should be concerned of? The Novak guide seems to have the rebuilds of these straight forward.
Thanks
