Hi folks, I finally got around to checking the drivetrain oils on the jeep I bought this spring (haven't been driving it). Here is what I found:

Nice clean oil all around but... the T-15 level was about an inch below the filler plug and the Dana 20 was hugely overflowing. I know these two units are not sealed from each other so maybe the oil from the T15 has made its' way into the D20. The T15 fill plug is significantly higher.

So the question is: should I add oil to the tranny or will that just cause the Transfer Case to be far too full? Is about 1 inch down going to provide enough oiling for the tranny?

Thanks!
