Yeah were supposed to ge rain here also. The big Mardi Gras weekend here through Tuesday night at midnight. I don't blame you on the burning down the house thing. You want to treat it like you are frying a turkey, move it way out into the driveway when you light it up. And maybe 2 fire extinguishers LOL.

Man, talk about peer pressure LMAO. Definitely will have an extinguisher handy - I figure the biggest fire risk is the flare connection I made on the fuel line at the fuel pump. Unless it’s an electrical fire - in working on the engine bay harness I may have simply made a large fusible link, much like a model rocket igniter........ turn the key and POOF......

Got my water skis on and my bag chair slung over my shoulder. Just waiting for the jeep to pass by with the rope hanging out the back.

I think it was a whole different world back then. Some where in the 60s there was serious change, maybe even before that

Ok - the could mounting bracket is all done. Didn’t like the black paint, so I used some more AMC blue LOL
Making a strap to secure the coil seemed like a PITA, so I improvised.....
With any luck I’ll get that mounted today.
Amazing how blue the camera makes this paint look. Much closer to aqua than blue in real life...... go figure.
