Yes he has a YJ tub as I do, I am conflicted on whether I want to modify my tub to fit the CJ windshield washer or leave mine like Shum8

I just put the originals back in. Otherwise, I’d have to fill in the holes. More work. I’m all about easy now........ I had misplaced em for a while, and you can’t find em anymore. Auto parts stores sell replacement nozzles, but none will work. I was beginning to sweat it when I found em.

Just put em in a zip-loc bag and hot glue it to the windshield....

I would just go with what you have, not worth modifying it !

Agreed. I would leave it with the YJ washer set up. I would like to switch my sprayers out for YJ or later nozzles. The way my CJ ones spray is not optimal. It works, but I would prefer a wider spray pattern.

Finally got around to cutting the lettering for the tailgate Friday. Then went home and left em at work over the weekend....... Early last week I cut the first run, and the “J” was the correct size, but the “e”s and “p” were too large.

I stuck on Satan wrap (which, for the record - that is the spawn of satan.....) so I could overlay without stickin em down. Shrunk em down a bit and cut em again in black. These should be right.

Gonna try to get em in place this afternoon.

Yesterday while I was fiddling with the idle some more, I took a break from the carb and started checking to see which dash controls didn't work. Turned the fan on - low worked, med worked, and high worked. Cool. Stuck my hand down at the heat outlet and was really disappointed in how little air was moving. Even with the blazer blower motor upgrade, and it was pitiful. I then realized the vent knob was in the "closed" position. I gotta get my head back in the CJ controls game..... I pulled it open to the floor position..... HOLY SHIZNET!! Talk about moving some air!!! It blew dust, pollen, dirt, papers, and whatever else was in the floor, to the back seat area. If this thing has nothing else, it'll have heat!!! Once winter makes its return, I'll have to drive naked to keep from melting LOL

Maybe you can use some of that heat in the two hole out house this winter when you are ice fishing at the lake Sent not using Tapatalk from the alligator infested swamp

Ok - Was time this evening to add a little sumpn sumpn to the tailgate. Took the letter out to the Jeep house, sat down, and pondered the naked tailgate.

I liked it naked, but went ahead with the letters. I knew the “J” was close enough to not sweat it, so I started with an “e”.

That work out well, so I rolled on with the rest of em.

I like it. I think I’ll leave the letters all blacked up.......

Well, looks like it’ll be a while before I can swing the new seats and 4 points, so until then I’ll just run what I have. So, out to the parts box for the factory seat belts. Dug em out, popped the cover off to find the remnants of untold numbers of spiders an such, weeds, dirt, and I think Jimmy Hoffa’s socks......

Blew em out with some air, a toothbrush, and wirewheeled the crusty parts. Taped off the non crusty parts, and hit one of em with some paint. Then I got a dinner call. Will finish later......

And I didn’t do it, but this TEALLY tested my restraint!! I mean, c’mon - that makes me hafta take it off.

I have the cheap Chinese aftermarket ones and they look worse than yours lol, those should do fine, they are packed with mud like mine
