No, not off of the distributor, that is ported vacuum. You need to find manifold vacuum, off of the PCV of EGR valves would be the best place.

See!! Now you know why I seek wisdom from the Jeep yoda's! :D. Thanks amigo.

what year fords were they used on? It looks like the carb on my 65' falcon with 289.
Anybody adapt these to the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l ? I was looking at an offenhauser intake and was condering maching a plate to convert the 4 bbl to 2 bbl

Mine came off a 63 Galaxy, if I remember right:D.

Quick introduction: I am Gronk. (ehrmannmp on EBay) owner of GRONK Performance. I have over 4000 of these carbs in stock and have personally built over 11,000. If there are any questions related to the Motorcraft 2100/2150, I would be happy to answer them. I build/sell about 130 of these every month. I can answer jetting questions/power-valve questions/timing questions, etc. please ask.

I got the wrong rebuild kit so I haven't gotten a chance to rebuild my carb , I will go check out your website and maybe I will just order a carb. my carb has an electric choke someone removed and wired open the butterfly so I have no choke , it sucks air and the WIERDEST thing is when the jeep is running at idle and I rock the jeep back and forth the motor stalls?do you sell the carbs complete with the choke setup already installed? there are a few pieces of my choke actually missing so a carb with a 1 wire choke would be great!

welcome aboard the forums I don't have a lot of free time this time of year but I check in whenever I can

thx brian
