I heard if you take a 350 2wd turbo Transmission and cut off 1 7/8" off the out put shaft it'll bolt up to a Transfer Case . Anyone every done this mod yet?

From novak adapters:
"2wd transmissions feature conical shaped tailhousings and an output yoke, which are replaced with a typically shorter 4wd style output shaft (most often included with our adapter assemblies) of varying lengths and spline counts, depending on the application."
