Transmission Mount question.

I took the front clip off of the cj this morning. Since everything is right there and wide open I figure it’s a good time to replace the motor mounts and Transmission mount. Question is is that the PO swapped in a T-18 transmission. Will the stock transmission mount work with the T18?

I would assume you'll have to use a mount for the T-18 . Be sure to replace grommets for the torque bar if they're tired looking. You can find those mounts just about anywhere.

Why are you replacing the mounts? Are they bad? If it were me, I wouldn't replace them if they don't need it. But if they're crusty and dry-rot, then go for it.

They’re the original from 85. Definitely crusty and dry
