Transmission question

Transmission question
For the SR4/T4/T5, They are on top of the transmission, between the bellhousing and shifter.

From the shift pattern and pictures, it looks like an SR4/D300 combo to me. I'm surprised it's lasted behind your V8. No experience with a V8/SR4 combo, but from what I've heard about that transmission, you might want to start planning a swap.

You list a 305 as the engine...If it's really a 305 (GM) and not a 304 (AMC), then your transmission options maybe differ from the standard CJ stuff.

it is definetly a Chevy 305. I am going to buy a tranny swap kit from Novak and get it changed as quick as possible.

Havent had any luck with the person doing anything right on this thing except maybe the 305 because of how easy it is to get parts and work on.

IS there any recommendation for the tranny I should swap in to keep it for a street and beach cruiser?
