My son's built 401 goes into a SM465/Dana 20 . The rear is a IH 44 w/DL.
The front is a Dana 44 w/DL. Built by Dad........LOL
He 'rolls-into' the fun peddle and runs it to red line at times. Driveline has help up well over these many years.

No disrespect intended.As you all no bench racing on the net can go on for ever. You are correct in saying that with a high HP V8 and paddle tires the weak link will break. Paddle tires come in a wide range of sizes,.number of paddles,length of paddle,stagger cut,competition cut, play cut, so on. Just like offroad tires you can taylor to your needs and equipment. One thing is for certain playing in the sand is a LOT of fun.Please come visit us this summer. mike
