Warn Hubs, pay attention to this forum

Hard use and big tires don't like hub bolts period.

I tried LocTite, studs finally dumped the hubs and went F150 internal hubs. End of problem.

The bolts loosening is pretty common, especially on a 5 bolt. My buddy has to tighten his pretty much every time we go wheeling. I just switched from MM hubs to warn premium 6 bolts. I went with the studs and nuts. Much better system. No worrying about them loosening up.

Threaded studs and ny-lock nuts torqued to 35 ft/lb has kept my Mile Marker hubs in place with no loosening at all, for years.
I have a D/L in the front and run 33" tires.
The issue is the junk zinc metal used by Warn.
MM uses steel.

I'm looking at the pic and can see they are inside of the outer lip of the hub so I don't see how they could be a problem.

The washers protrude outboard of the hub's base flange.
The wheel's center section may very well not clear....

I use the Stage 8 kit 8901. Never a problem. BTW, the kit is cheaper at Summit than on amazon

Ages ago when I just got my '77 Jeep Steppenwolf Jeep, I mentioned to my automotive mentor "it's already equipped with Warn hubs" in a joking fashion he'd always say "you'd better replace 'em then" the vernacular didn't dawn on me for a couple of decades.
