Warn Hubs, pay attention to this forum
Hard use and big tires don't like hub bolts period.

I tried LocTite, studs finally dumped the hubs and went F150 internal hubs. End of problem. :D

The bolts loosening is pretty common, especially on a 5 bolt. My buddy has to tighten his pretty much every time we go wheeling. I just switched from MM hubs to warn premium 6 bolts. I went with the studs and nuts. Much better system. No worrying about them loosening up.

Threaded studs and ny-lock nuts torqued to 35 ft/lb has kept my Mile Marker hubs in place with no loosening at all, for years.
I have a D/L in the front and run 33" tires.
The issue is the junk zinc metal used by Warn.
MM uses steel.

:confused: I'm looking at the pic and can see they are inside of the outer lip of the hub so I don't see how they could be a problem.
 
The washers protrude outboard of the hub's base flange. :eek:
The wheel's center section may very well not clear....
