Sorry you had to work. If it helps any, I didn't think about how long I was going to be out. Once the sun went down, the doors off weren't such a wonderful idea. Next nice day like that, I will bring more clothing! :)

Drove 115 miles to collect some biological specimens, checking quantity in a new poly gas tank. Burned 8.3 gallons at 35-45MPH. What a beautiful day, sun and 64 degrees!

Sheesh. Too darned cold and windy to venture outdoors the whole darned weekend! Drove to Cape Cod to buy an electric radiator fan. Frankly, I'm afraid of that stock fan. Looks like a finger-eater. Took three hours but I drove the backroads. Freeways are for sissies. Plus my sweetie and I stopped for milkshakes.

brrrr. makes me glad i'm in TN, winters are wet, but at least not much snow.
As for my cj, new napa 8mm wires to be picked up tomorrow for teamrush cap and wire upgrade.

Update: First step of teamrush ignition done. New cap, rotor and 8mm wires installed. Still have to gap plugs and maybe get bigger coil.
Need for work in the am, DD is loaded with recyclables and scrap yard was closed today. So Eugene it is and weatherman says 17 in the morning. :(

Continue sourcing some sheet metal for patch panels on the floor. Hopefully I will be able to cut out some of the bad spots this weekend. I am a rookie so I there is some reservation about trying this myself!

any of the supply houses should be able to get you sheet metal, inports of course.

#Johnny...appreciate it. I am unsure if I should patch it with 16 or 18 gauge steel. I will be sealing it and lining the interior when the weather warms up!

All I could do today was look at it. To cold in the garage to work on the CJ. Outside tempature -10 below. I hate winters. I guess I spend time on this site.:pissed:

I took her for a drive and realized two things...I MUST get the new blower motor in to get rid of the awful rattling noise:eek:
And I have a leak near the right rear wheel cylinder. Fun. Guess it is time to stop being so excited to drive her and put her out of commissiob and work out the kinks and start the paint project.

Buckeye:18 ga would be closer to stock thichness than 16 ga.

Thought it beats the heck out of pipe foam. :chug:
