Took the motor support bracket off. My heart almost stopped when the motor shifted and put tension on my support brace.

Tried to get the upper half of the rear main seal out. Wasn't successful but I did loosen all the bolts on the caps on the shaft.

Actually over the weekend, Stabbed rebuilt T-176 and rebuilt Dana 300 , replaced right rear axle seals and replaced rear brakes, found PO had done a trail fix for left rear hub:( Maybe it will last long enough for me to save up the money for the AMC20 rebuild. Just need to purchase and install the BDS 4 inch lift and she will be back on and off the road.:chug:

Power washed inside and out getting ready for tear down. Removed seats, hood, and sun visors. Struggled without success on Torxhead bolts for seat belts and roll bar.

Sanded power steering gearbox brackets (holy :dung: were they rusty), prepped them for paint, removed the paint that was on the front diff cover, prepped that for paint as well.

Got new Energy suspension shackle bushings (front and rear), motor mounts, and sway bar bushings.

Tomorrow is going to be a fun day... going to use the torch and smog the place out with burning rubber. :D

Finally got the rear main seal out and replaced. Got a new oil pan bolted up. Almost ready for oil.

Got the hubs put back together and oil put in. Took it out for a drive around the lake. Looks like I got the oil leaks fixed.

Today I took my Jeep CJ2500 up into the mountains to cut firewood. I loaded up quite a bit of wood. And then when I ... ah... what's that?
yes, my CJ2500, a 3/4 ton jeep.
Anyway, I was out cutting wood and then I .. um ... yes, it's a 3/4 ton. Can I continue?
so, like I was saying, I loaded up the bed with firewood and then I . . . What? ? OKAY, OKAY, it is "just a pickup", a Chevy. Can I tell my story?
GREAT! That's just fine. Be that way! I'll just go find my own web site!

Went for a ride at Slade Ky.

worked on my 4.0 head for my swap. More importantly, I got my tow rig running again, after having the injector pump rebuilt.

Rerouted my Emergency brake cables. When I first put the cables on I had nothing to go by and ended up putting them on the outside of the frame. Tonight they were rerouted inside the frame. It was a close thing with duel exhaust mufflers right where the cables needed to go.

Hooked up 12v beepers to my turn signals, so I'm not rideing down the road with signals on.

Took my son and a friend out to a local farmer's property for an afternoon of trap shooting and driving around his property. Tested all positions in the Transfer Case , including N.

Had a good time shooting a 20 gauge, a 12 gauge, and a 410.
