Nope, I can forgive those guys .. to a point. I'm a selective horn hunter and 9 out of 10 times it's a Lexus that makes me reach for a panic braking situation. Sorry if you drive a Lexus, the cars are great, drive with normal levels of respect and I have no problems with you. However, if you cut me off in traffic or push me off the road or drive around me just to cut me off, well then I have a special kind of love for you. A true story, my oldest daughter was learning how to drive and I was talking to her about things to look out for. During the conversation we were driving through a big almost empty parking lot, when I mentioned my prejudice against Lexus's. I no sooner got it out of my mount when an SUV jumped in front of me making it necessary to brake hard and maneuver to avoid an accident. My daughter smiled and said, "and it's a Lexus." I hadn't noticed that the vehicle was one of those Lexus SUV's. We both laughed about it all the way home.

can't believe I left it out of my list but for me, it's the Prius. Every single one of them around here is a huge A-hole. They are the ones that hotdog around, dodging, racing and cutting me or someone else off and locking up traffic. Thought they were a hybrid that is suppose to save fuel?

Corrected the CPS wiring and it fired right up.

Removed seats/belts/sportbar. Getting ready to replace the front floor pans and paint the entire floor/interior. I have some new seats to go in when I'm done with that.

From what I've read on here I got pretty lucky that the floor is solid under the sportbar.

man you aren't just whistling dixy there. when i went to pull the one off of my 80 CJ5 as soon as we undid the back bolts the whole front went through the floor. but then again a:eek:ll but two of the channels where the mounting bolts went were completely gone. definitely clean that up and get some paint on there.

Peter ... the road towards a Scrambler!!!!!

I rebuilt my turn signal control box, installed my front pinion once again ... getting real close on that gear set-up, man I hate Transmission /differential grease....

Had the joy of covering the outside of my CJ7 with monstaliner Along with some body work. I am happy with how it sprayed on and how it turned out.

The finished product looks nice, not so sure I could have made it past through the drying phase though. The thick shinny look of it would have been a big test of my resolve. :) Did you clear coat it after spraying, how does the color stand up to the sun?

Talk to me (us) about that diamond plate. Is it actually part of the vehicle or is the liner thick enough to hide the seam?

The shine disappeared after a couple days and a good wash. I was worried myself. As for the diamond plate, I cut out the old panels and installed.

And I'll have to wait out the possibility of fading. Monstaliner says it will warranty the job if it fades for 5 years.

installed new cb mount and reinstalled radio, only to find it crapped out. Oh well I wanted a new radio with mp3 jack. Also continued wiring on aux lights. complete with relays and spots for two more light installs.

Had it towed to the Transmission shop :(
Not sure what's wrong with it but it sounds awful and won't move.

Picked up a frame and body mounts for my 8. The fun will begin soon.

Started on the passenger side front floor pan. It's ready for welding and happy with the results so far considering this is my first time with this type of job. The driver side will be more difficult since it has rot all the way to rocker.
