WooHoo! I was thinking that pretty soon I would drive to your place and shame you into dropping the tank! :poke:
Glad you're getting to it. Not really all that difficult once the tank is empty.
Just put our tank back in not too long ago. A few more items to take care of, then we hope to do some wheeling. Maybe Haspin or Badlands if we both get the CJ's done in time.:chug:

I have 33s with 3.54s and it's a pretty good combo - a little tall but not bad and the T-18 granny makes up for it when needed. I ran 34 LTBs for awhile and it felt about the same.

I have 31s so I'm excited.

The Holley Sniper EFI TBI isn't shipping until June but that's okay. Plenty to do in the meantime...

I know you've wanted this for awhile. Can I ask how much that set you back?

Well nothing yet but it's $1k for the everything needed including programmer.

I'm adding a FITech Fuel Commander for another $350. This allows you to use stock fuel system from tank to commander then the commander (a reservoir) handles the high pressure to the TBI.

Took it out to a muddy farm to shoot guns with my friends and 16 yo son. Actually put it in 4 low for the first time this year.

Have the same table and I *think* launcher. Mine kicks pretty hard. Does it work alright with the table? Have to have someone put weight to it?

It works pretty well. Like I said it was kinda muddy so the table was sticking in the soft soil some. We did sometimes have someone put a foot on it. The hardest part for us was trying to figure out setting it up and what direction it was going to throw the clays. Normally my dad sets it up before I get there but he wasn't with us this time.

Once we got the angles right it was pretty consistent.

I was thinking about this and it might not be clear from the picture but we have the launcher attached to the table with portable wood clamps. That launcher is held on there tight.

Is it all right to ask where you ordered it thu? Did you get straight from Holley? Or was it a place like summit racing?

I think I'm going to have to pick this up

I'm going to check with Holley and see what's best. It seems there's no difference on price. Sometimes there's an advantage to getting it from the manufacturer, sometimes you get it quicker from a supplier because the manufacturer is obligated to deliver to them first.

Just got off the phone with Holley and INITIALLY there is no advantage to purchasing elsewhere as vendor warehouses (Summit, Jegs, etc.) will not be stocked until all existing orders are fulfilled. Once backorders are filled, then vendors will receive stock. So if you choose to go through Summit, Jegs, etc, that's fine, it won't slow you down - but it won't be quicker either in the beginning.

I finally put the alternator belt I bought two years ago on...

I inspected hoses and easy to touch electrical connections; tested the battery and alternator output; fiddled with the carb mixture and got rpm set.

I'm liking the Kenwood KMR-D365BTmarine radio/CD thing I installed last week.

Am thinking about taking a few hundred mile road trip in the next few weeks... Maybe East, over the Cascades before severe fire season starts.
