Not do much what I did as what I'm doing today, installing a new turn signal switch. What a pain! :-) well at least my blinkers will shut off now!

I got my wheel studs torqued back down with some red locktight, repacked the wheel bearing and bolted the backing plate back up on my rear axle. I forgot how fun that was

What ever happened with it dying suddenly? Figure it out yet?

I haven't gotten back to that problem since I got it to run last time (busy with the rearend)
I guess I have two options....replace everything (coil, ICM, pickup coil) or get some testing equipment (ohm meter, voltage meter, etc) and find out exactly what it was.
As it is now, it still remains a mystery

I would be look'n at buy'n the diagnostic tools, and not just 'throw' $$$ at it quess'n.
Don't rule out your ignition switch either.

Wooly-Use a 'toe-nail' clipper and you can cut the tie off flush.
Well done. :chug:

Been feeling vulnerable lately, so a set of 3 point seat belts are on the way. The CJ has a set of lap belts, I keep expecting to be pulled over for a seat belt violation. The look on the officers face when he sees that I'm legal would be worth it.

Nail clippers! Are you telling us that you have a problem with reaching down along side your engine and pulling out an arm covered in scratches?

 With the 'meds' I'm on-I bleed like crazy. :D
I learn'd about the toe-nail clipper trick when I was do'n aircraft wiring.

Here's a well kept secret. Baby finger nail clippers. Since a baby has little tiny thin finger nails their clippers have to be extra sharp. Nothin' nips out those tiny, yet painful hang nail things that occasionally pop up along the side of your adult nail. They are also great for minor surgery, a splinter for instance, where you need to nip a hole in your self to get at a problem. Love those little things.

Put the Transmission crossmember in and put the body on.

Having just moved in March I've been slow to get garage ready. Swore I'd never have the mess I had the last place. Hopefully this is a good 5S start...
