Belizean take a quiet bow my friend, you contributed to the decal as well...

I thank the designer & the guy that produced the end product.

Sounds like a good idea when the top is off / down, but since I don't have the door key, I'll probably need to get new locks with keys...

And, yeah - the Beonxo only suffered a small dent on the front of the hood and a couple dents in the aluminum grille surround.

Got mine without key also. Got the locksmith at work to just take my lock I already had an make a key. He said piece of cake $15. Lock was already out while I was painting the doors

No problem. Glad you liked it. It almost looks as good on green as silver. :)

Yes, Northern VA counties have the emissions testing. But the CJ and the Impala are both exempt form those tests since they are 25+ years old. But I do need safety inspections annually if I drive them regularly. To get antique plates, and not have to do the safety inspections, I could only drive Limited miles, to and from shows, to test fixes, etc.

And shum8, I failed three years in a row for holes in the frame. Patched two times, then went with the frame swap after the last one.

Damn! I never heard of a safety inspection including the structural integrity of the vehicle. Usually they're just checking if the blinkers and taillights work. Were they hitting the frame every couple inches with a hammer?

They just want the $10 and check lights & horn here

HA - No, he just squatted down beside the rear wheel, looked at the frame, stuck his finger in the rust hole, and that did it......

Nice finishing touch... been thinking of the hood decal myself, found a guy that will print anything on it... can't decide on what it would be though...

Graphics Express(on Ebay) has a lot of period correct licensed decals for Jeeps, both old and new. That's where I purchased mine.

Crazy story of the lady on the phone. Very odd. Glad you and the Bronco were relatively unscathed.

And yes, the inspection includes frame structure. I don't mind. It is nice to know as I don't always see everything that might be an issue. And looking at the cars driving in MD and DC, held together by duct tape and string, makes me appreciate the inspections.

Just looked for them on eBay - no luck. Can you post a link?? Thanks

Used a cutoff wheel to finish removing the OEM swing out spare tire carrier I bashed in when I rolled backwards into a tree last fall.

If anyone has one they don't need, send me a PM. I don't need the mounting hardware but I'll take it if you don't want it.

Man I wish you had said something a couple months ago - tried to sell mine and couldn't give it away....

Made a hard top hoist in the garage and got that off and set on my homemade hardtop storage cart which turned out that I had ample room for storage of both hard doors. So it"s now a hardtop/hard doors storage cart.

Then.......
Got my new Bestop bikini top installed. Took the dash loose found the speedometer was loose, tightend that up, replaced every dash bulb, got my foot area lights working.

Just gave mine away 6 months ago to a friend that bought an 85 without one. You shouldn't have a problem finding those because I have seen 5-6 of them on CL in the last 6-9 months

:) Facebook? What's that. Is that on of those sites like the twiddly piddly twerpy bird thing everybody spends so much time on writing things that very possibly could and has gotten people fired?

..... Welcome to the board. Hope you enjoy it here.

FakeBook. This is where you tell the world how great you are and take stupid pictures of yourself. Oh. No that is maybe Slapchap where you take stupid pictures and send them out and they disappear in 10 seconds and there is no proof you ever did it :). HH it's a new world out there and there isn't much room in it for dinosaurs like us :(
