What did you do to or with your CJ today?

FakeBook. This is where you tell the world how great you are and take stupid pictures of yourself. Oh. No that is maybe Slapchap where you take stupid pictures and send them out and they disappear in 10 seconds and there is no proof you ever did it . HH it's a new world out there and there isn't much room in it for dinosaurs like us

I've just got the Facebook where people do make that error in posting stupid stuff, I was going to use it as a record of my build progress until I found this site

I can't seem to insert my images they won't load properly think it's an internet connection thing

Ohhh I thought Facebook was the site that constantly fills my E-mail account reporting on posts from people I don't know, have never met and likely will never intend to meet. Friends of friends with their family I could care less about in the mix. ..... Well I might care about them if I only had a clue who they were.

Belizean - I guess I'm behind the times since I don't understand why everybody needs to know everything about everybody all the time while at the same time can't seem to communicate face to face.

I don't know the real reason for not being able to post pics is, but I have never figured it out either. Most people us photo bucket. Seems crazy to me because I use another forum and can upload from my iPad the stored pictures I have, but not here

I know what you are talking about. Most everything in the last 1/2 of the last century seems like it was better then. I sure miss the 70s 80s and really even the 90s were fairly good

It's the site, it use to be real easy to load pics but now you can't see any of the pics in the galleries and i think you need to be in your 20's or 30's with a smart phone to do it. I have to have my 25yr old son take the pics for me with his phone and post them for me and at times that doesn't work but hay the site is safe :barf:

I helped manage cjoffroad.com and our local jeep club. It got to be less and less people where on it and spam posts were more often...sad too because this format is great way to have long term conversations and a great resource to look things up.

It got to be less and less people where on it and spam posts were more often...sad too because this format is great way to have long term conversations and a great resource to look things up.

X eleventy million. The forums seem to be migrating the facebook. But that format is not conducive to long term discussion topics and research. But times they are a changin'

I've been in IT for 26 years. Never had MySpace, Facebook, etc. I understand what the intentions are with these, but from my exposure to them they create more problems than they solve. I'll never have a Facebook account. I have Twitter and Instagram, but they are quite different animals.

While I agree with your overall summation of many forums, pics are only a problem for some. Not sure what the common thread is just yet though. I personally haven't seen spam postings here...

^^ Looks in good shape.

Structurally it's great sound no rust .. new body cleaned up chassis .. rebuilt engine .. new gears in the box .. but everything was done by someone who's less than compatant so there is some little issues ..nothing like most of the horror stories I've read so far but some issues none the less annoying lol

Last night I started tearing into my intake manifold replacement project. I got a lot done and tagged wires and lines.

I hope to have the intake and valve covers off tonight. Will hot-tank and paint covers and new intake is aluminum.
