Question - Was the wrap a kit or did you at least know how much you would need? Just big flat pieces you laid on and trimmed?

I have been thinking about it rather than paint. Did not know it could be done so cost effectively.

Agreed. We need more info. Heck I may stop buying cans now! Where'd you get a kit for $100?

Ya, I posted somewhere on here how I did it. Just ordered a 5'x20'roll and went for it. No doors. Didn't take much vinyl.

5x5 for the hood and I pieced the rest together. Like Tetris. Vvivd vinyl is what I used. Was easy to install, except the hood was a bi$&@.

Cool. Thanks. I read the post you had about it and remember the hood being mentioned. I will look that up. I have designs in my head so I will have to play around. Being one solid color makes it easier to piece together.

I will definitely suggest the solid color over any of the patterns. Unless you get the 50 foot roll and then you would be fine.

Wasn't enough to update the build thread, but I got the fourth fender flair mounting holes drilled today. Stuck it in place to verify fit - amazing that a made-in-china flair fits this well.

I found the air injection system for my '78 on Craigslist close by and pick up everything I needed for $AMC 150  Now just have to get it installed.

Well, after finally getting all the primer sanded out, I got color on the fenders, doors, all the hinges, and the tailgate. Still have the tub, windshield frame, hood, grill, and roll bar to go. First attempt at color was a big fat fail - learned the hard way not to wipe everything down with acetone first...... fisheye city. This attempt worked MUCH better. Have a little orange peel, but nothing I can't live with. It'll look better once it gets a few scrapes from tree limbs LOL.
