Mounted a CB antenna, and ordered seat covers. My 2 and 4 year old love to "help" with the jeep. The original seats need a little help with there help.

Where did you mount the antenna?

The Firestik CB antenna is mounted on a bracket that attaches to the right rear tail light. Its a . Ran the cable around the top of the fuel port using the screws already there to hold the cable with a cable fastener. Cable goes in the tailgate, under the carpet and, as of now, come out of the center console. We have some ideas on where to mount the CB but really need to get it and play with where we like it. Also excited about the bestop seat covers coming in.

Nice! My son learned stick in my Scrambler. Well, tried. He was too worried about it. Although he was fine. He thought he was going to kill my clutch. Instead he got more practice in the JKU

That's what she keeps telling people :D She's got a brother to fight about it with. In the meantime I'm going to work on it and drive it myself.

Her goal is to drive it her last day of school, it's her senior year. She's pretty set on it to. It may just take us that long to get it ready for her and get her ready for it. She was stressing the clutch early on, but I told her if it goes out we'll just have to replace it. It would be well worth the money, not that I think she's going to hurt it any.

My daughter drove a manual mini in HS and she killed the clutch in one year. She is better now

When I was younger, I always said my kids would learn to drive stick before they got their first car. Life got in the way, and we ended up getting a good deal on an auto, so it just fell to the wayside. I'll do better with my son, assuming life doesn't get in the way :D

How could you not smile when driving a jeep. Even more so when learning the dreaded clutch. Today my Bestop seat covers came in. Pretty happy so far. The front seats were easy, we will see how the back seat goes. I could only find the flip/fold seat cover, however ours does not flip or fold. We'll see how this works out.

Finally replaced my manual brakes with the power brake booster from my parts Jeep. My manual brakes worked perfect, but I figured I might as well switch to power, because why not?... Every thing swapped over perfect but now my brake pedal sets about 2" lower then before, and it only has about half the "throw" that my manual had. I guess this is normal?
