I was waiting for someone to ID that winch, really nice winch folks don't see often, great conversation piece. Figure someone here must have been around for awhile to know what it is.

It is ugly at the moment, (I posted the best angle) but it's also a sleeper.
Professionally built FI AMC 401 T-18 , ARB air lockers front and rear. 4 link rear w/quarter elliptic springs and front SOA yj springs. Tilt steering, and........intermittent wipers. :D

...I have intermittent wipers too - they used to work, and now they don't ;-)

While I had the tank out I removed the 64 Mustang taillights. Only had time to remove one and fill some holes.

Not with my CJ but...

Today I ordered the last of the back yard materials - Sod and Bark...

Tomorrow I should have everything 98% complete so that means I'm getting close to starting up on my 360 build again for the CJ.:D

:chug:

Is that the same hat you wore to Colorado?? :D

:poke:

Lol, wearing black hats in the summer never made sense to me.

Last night I stitched in the passenger side taillights. Getting a late start this morning more stitching and filling the gazillion holes drilled into the tub planned today.

I’m not a fan of the side fuel fill on a CJ.

I’ll move the filler neck to the rear.

Funny. I have thought about moving my fuel filler to the side since my Runck bumper tire swing blocks it some.

Why don’t you like it on the side?

Just doesn’t look or feel right for me to see the filler neck on the side of a CJ, too tjish.
In your case seems you have a good reason to move it.
I’m also not a fan of fender flares and really high back seats on a flat fender.

All valid points. A flat fender would definitely look out of place with high back seats and/or flares.

Added a new sock. While installing the FP I noticed the pickup and sock was pushing against the floor of the tank possibly cutting off some of the flow so a made some adjustments to pick it just off the floor.

I didn’t own a wrench large enough to install the FP fastener, thought for a bit and my oil filter wrench worked like a charm.

Repaired a previous fix consisting of tape and a plug.

well my inspection was a no brainer, he took my ins papers and looked at the mileage left me setting in the sun for 30 minutes and they came out and said come on inside and I will ring you up.

No checking lights, horn, brakes nothing and all for $7

F Glass patch ?

Yes,
Another way is to weld it using a soldering iron and plastic. I had the glass on hand and it was fast and easy.

Removed the carpet and seats

The floors are not bad for a 64 year old jeep. You can see the patch where a PTO once lived.

The bad spot is on the Driver’s rocker. This will take a little extra care to repair being a two piece section where one side overlaps the other with a bend. I will also have to make a gusset for the inside seam that I removed.
