What did you do to or with your CJ today?
First off that 20w50 oil is for racing. It's for very hot engines. I wouldn't use that on a street vehicle. If your having trouble with your oil pressure you might need a new oil pump.
As for wheel spacers they are good and bad. If you put on bigger tires you may get some rubbing. Wheel spaces will help prevent your tires from rubbing. They also give your jeep a wider, more stable stance. The problem with wheel spacers is that they add more stress to the front ball joints because the wheels are out farther than the manufacturer intended.
Wow, that engine looks as clean as new.Detailed engine compartment (degreaser, power washer and used Perfect Spray on everything that's black) and painted fender flares.
Very low pressure at idle. Yes the strait 6 does have issues with low oil pressure but you put in 2 new oil pumps and it's still low.i replaced the oil pump twice to just make sure that the new pump wasn't bad the pressure stays at about 40psi at 1500 rpm but drops to 10 at 1000 the cams been replaced as well as lifters and rockers i have heard that these motors are known for low oil pressure. i have a dip stick oil heater that runs for 2 hours before i even think about turning the key.
Definitely jealous of you.I took my jeep up Kendall Mountain at Silverton CO
