Mirror mounts differently with new bracket. Second image is the “before” and first image is the “after”.

Yeah at that angle it’s hard to see how the new mount works.

I did the best possible thing I went off road. Near to destination I saw my Transmission shifter flex 4 inches lateral. Time to retreat only 45 miles to the blacktop. Crawling down in 4 low I hear what sounded like my fan was coring out my radiator (it was). So for sure its new radiator, fan and fan clutch. I cant wait to discover the true damage lmao!

Ouch! :td:
Motor mounts, Transmission mount or a combination?

I have stiff springs. 7” wagons. 33 x 10.5 x 15. 20 lbs.

1978 cj5. I put on new 15x10 Black wagon wheels with 12.50x33x15 Atlas mud tires. And trying to figure out how much psi. to run.
The chalk test is the most accurate.

After reading that I’m sticking with 20ish. Maybe 22 to drive north in a couple days. But since it will be hot, and on the road all day, I might need to let some air out maybe just to get to that. :chug:

I ordered parts, damage was the result of a motor mount bolt that left. My body mounts had also gone bad, lost bolts ,body mount bushings so a whole new kit on the way too. the turn signal stalk will now wait another 6 months as will the park brake release lever.:cj7:

I find 20 is about right but rough on economy, 25 helps economy but the center section wears bad. I want a 33x9.50 on 6 0r 7 inch wheels and thats impossible.

No it's not. I've run a 33x12.5 on a 7" wheel with 25 psi without problems or heavy wear

I cant think of any tire maker doing 33x9.50 if you know one I would love to know. Nitto does a 33x9.5 but they say its not a DOT tire only for utv. Maybe it is just my tires Maxxis RZR 33x10.5 15 being wear prone.

Oh that's some good smoked heaven right there Manic. Especially the whole hog and dual bacon explosions. Are those bacon wrapped jalapeños with sour cream as well?

And I'm not supposed to get hungry watching this? Raining here at camp and I can't make a darn thing. 😕

That was overnight
