What did you do to or with your CJ today?
Awwww..... your CJ and all of its extra parts gets a new house :) How sweet....

Never thought of it as "sweet", but OK...:)

heres what they got up today...

I made a little progress getting the storage area up, pics tomorrow after it gets light enough to turn out...

Picked up the new Fuel cell. RCI 2151A 15 Gal. Aluminum to mount in the bed behind the front seats. I also picked up a set of Waggoner front springs. These springs plus redrilling the spring plates 1" offset should give me the 3" axle set back I'm attempting.

Outside of that my CJ has been getting neglected. I've been spending all my time working on my buddy's rock buggy to get it ready for the KOH qualifier at Rausch Creek Friday.

I'm ashamed to say I have been very busy this week so the only thing I have done is wrap the new body up in a tarp to protect it from the rain... :(

Started the task of cleaning and going over the CJ8 a bit closer.

Started installing the softtop hardware, got pissed threw it into the corner of the garage, ordered a bikini top. The PO bent the parts that go over the door, it's an easy fix but I'm not wanting to drill that many holes in the new windshield frame to install all the parts. Plus the soft top was left out in the weather by the PO, and after a good hose down and a hang on the cloths line the top appears to have shrunk and wont cover the whole jeep, it only goes to about halfway behind the front seats. I might take it to an upholstery shop and have it cut down to a bikini top.

BrockGrimes,

That is so funny, because I did the exact same thing last year! I didn't think about having it cut down though, that's a good idea.

Got the hardtop off, put on the bikini. Installed a new set of plugs, and added a vacuum line that I foget after the M/C install today, hopped in, fired her up, and cruised around for a good couple of hours, it was a blast.

Took the 1/2 cab off the CJ8 today and modified the tub for soft 1/2 doors. Took it for a 145 mi. round trip to grab a nice solid black tailgate for $50. It was just beautiful to get into the Jeep and have a nice topless ride. Came home and but the bikini top on. :D

Drove the jeep over to take a look at "Bounty Hunter" for those that don't know,
it's a MONSTER TRUCK, the boy thought it was awsome, but concluded that it wouldn't fit in the garage, he had the driver cracking up. LOL

I loaded some of my tools from work in it today so that Izzak and I can try to get more of the YJ torn apart tomorrow.

Did you not notice this was a CJ thread:poke:

I got your picture right here, LOL.
I would've taken one with the jeep but I didn't want to
make bounty hunter look small. Plus there was :dung: in the way.
