Fixed damage from vandalism last Friday. Some joker slashed the inside of my right rear tire and disconnected the fuel line from the rail. Sometimes I hate people.

That is when you wish you would catch the SOB in the act and slice his :censored: :censored: Hearing stuff like this really pisses me off. Glad to hear you got it fixed see you Sunday.

Took the block of my AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l in for machine work. Complete rebuild in progress with 4.0 conversion, header, Weber 38, and Clifford intake. Replaced front shocks with hydro 7000's and steering stabilzer.:D

Cut the POS Chinese made Advance Auto parts fan control/relay module out of my wiring.

I was trying to be graceful with the wire cutters, but after seeing my temp hit 245 as I pulled down my street, I was pissed!!! Parts jockeys at Advance will be seeing me tomorrow afternoon.

Aside from that, day number 3 on rebuild....Man its nice to be back in the jeep!!

Checked ALL the fuses in the 1980 CJ7 fuse panel for the first time. Almost all were the wrong size, usually 20's where I wanted 10's or 3's. One ten had a blown 25 in the slot. Replaced 'em all and SURPRISE! my elec choke on the MC2100 works now.

wired relays for my electric fans...NOW they work...No more cheazy $40 module. They now run all the time. I cant imagine I'll run TOO cool !!

I re degreased the underside. I imagine two or three more times and it will be presentable.

Just do a search for 'tie rod flip', there are several threads on this... ;)

Yeah I'd found a thread and priced a kit within 5 minutes .... Then as per usual I went out and stared at the front diff for 20 minutes or so ..
Thanks.

I spent the day alternating between using a propane torch and putty knife to scrape off all the old undercoating underneath, the bedliner inside the tub, and cutting a great big hole where the front floor was. Now its impersonating a Flintstone-mobile!

i went to start the jeep up and i got nothing. no click no nothing. looked under the hood, and the battery had broken the hold down and landed on the solenoid. shorted out the battery and broke the post off of the solenoid. put the spare solenoid in, charger the battery, and fixed a broken terminal. boom, the jeep starts right up. pulled it into the garage to put the plow on. but its now 10:45 and im tired

Seats are in, roll bar is secure, top is on and started but got late.

can you post more pictures of your Corbeau seats? and tell us what you think of them? I am thinking of a pair of Baja JPs but I imagine the quality and comfort of yours would be similar.

Did you loose very much room between you and the wheel? vertical and horizontal? How hard is it to enter and exit with those seat bolsters?

would they be a good place to spend 8 or 10 hours and climb out and in 20 or 30 times ?

this would be a good post for chassis and body forum.

I'm attempting to remove to sport bar but after getting all the bolts out it still seems stuck to the tub behind where the seats would go near the bottom?

Any thiughts

I think you have to pull the two sides together just slightly to get it loose.
