What did you do to or with your CJ today?

Spent 2 hrs getting out the last two bolts from back of the OEM 15gal tank. She's out, pan washed and drying, waiting for repaint and the 15gal poly-tank sitting on the shop floor. Stainless-everything going back together!

Replaced the drivers side back light...for some reason the PO had cut the wires and other than the parking lights, blinker and stop light wouldn't work. Redid the positions of the dash speedometer lights and replaced some bulbs and now...wait for it...all the lights work! Plugs in the floor and some new vacuum "t"'s finished out the day.

I did this on Sunday but, got the last 3bolts out so I can get the tub off the frame. So.....anybody want to come over and help lift a CJ5 tub. I'll have beer.

Dhugg, I'm more than familiar with how much of a PITA that is...

thinking of "fixing" that...

Got a few ideas with the height of my custom bumper extending lower to the ground than stock...

Thank you very much for the post. I put many hours into the interior and enjoyed every minute. Next project will be a clean up underneath the hood and tailpipe redo. Cant wait for spring

I went out this afternoon and busted snow drifts.

I took my Grandson down some sand trails in DeSoto National Forest, Southern Mississippi. We examined a BIG dead diamondback, saw some new coyote tracks, did some target shooting, and picked holly loaded with red berries for the women at home. First time he'd been off the pavement, much less running trails in a jeep. Even with the top off, we had to shed our jackets.

The PO cut the speaker grill out of the dash. I found this horn button on Ebay. I wasnt sure what to do with this area. Looking for ideas

What horn button? What area? The grill area?
