Ive been watching the weather in King William Va. for a few months. I plan to transfer to a Plant we have down there 2 years from now. Pretty much the same weather but a bit warmer.

Picked up all new pinon seals, Transfer Case output seals, oil pan gasket, rear main seal to give me something to do after work next couple nights sitting for 12 years ole jeep leaking from every orifice

Put a Bestop roll bar cover on. Used double the foam under the cover, gave it a much tighter smoother appearance. Almost tore my fingers off trying to get the zippers closed and the foam tucked in.

Not exactly a "to" or "with" just yet...more classified as a "for"... I got some steel from work to make some new fenders, since I think most the aftermarket flares look like poo and the ones that are cool are way too expensive. So I think I'm going to take a stab at making some custom fenders. I'll post them up when I'm done if I'm not too ashamed of my work.

Worked on cleaning up the engine compartment in prep for the rebuilt engine coming soon....got 2 Dunlop Mud Rovers for the front....cleaned the water pump, timing cover, and the Transfer Case shift linkage; began scraping years of gook/gunk/crud off of the Transfer Case .

Cleaned up the old paint from my new (to me) disk brake front end. The PO did a nice job painting the knuckle area, but it seems that he just painted the differential without cleaning it up first. I took a wire wheel to it and it's ready for a coat of rustoleum primer/paint.

The new 3.31 gears are installed. The job isn't as difficult as everybody seems to believe it is, but it's not easy to get the carrier/gears out either. The carrier bearinga are tight.

I moved my CJ because my neighbor hired a couple of Home Depot scabs to trim a tree. I have tree trimmer trust issues.

The brown Santa delivered a new clutch assembly for the 3B yesterday.

Took my 7 to hunting lease to see if all my repairs worked and did a little Coyote varmint control with 300 Blackout

I used my CJ and it's winch to move rocks from my yard to the hill behind my house. When I told CJ that he told me to post some pictures... so... here they are:

I had several of these rocks in my front yard. They were set there to be decorative but they are all sandstone. Not the most decorative rock. I would prefer a multicolored granite.

I started off with about 9 of these big rocks. Most were about 2 or 3 feet across. My plan is to install in-ground sprinklers but before I do that I want the yard the way I want it. I have 3 acres but very little of it is lawn grass. I only want a lawn on the area close to my house. The rest is natural vegetation and I like it that way. And by "natural" I don't mean weedy. I kill all invasive weeds like thistles.

Try washing your sand stone with pool acid, sometimes sand stone is VERY colorful but its hidden under calcium and ..... ahhhhh .... hmmmmm ..... other sock and dirt type stuff.

I adjusted turned some screws on the weber carb so it would stop spitting up under moderate acceleration before reaching operating temperature.

I removed the throw out bearing on my CJ5 today, new one goes in tomorrow with only a minimum of colorful words.

If they turn out pretty - and if you find the right buyer - they could go from rocks in the yard to money in the bank.

Today I did not notice that the nut I was reusing was stripped. As I was tightening down the thermostat housing, pop went the weasel.

NAPA has one coming tomorrow. Weather should be nicer tomorrow as well.
