Had to raise this one 2" to clear the CB coax, Anybody see a 90* plug for the radio plug in. frees up 3 or 4 " if I can find one. Filled in a bunch of holes.
Speaking of holes, the floorboard holes that accept the electrical cap/plug if you so choose? are 1 1/16" holes. the caps are designed to fit in a 1 1/6" hole commonly found in any J box. I have not been able to find a 1 1/16" step drill, hole saw or knock out punch so far. This is surprising. I wanted to use a couple of these plugs in the box bottom and still am but will use silicone to hold as well as seal them.
Have plans for new stainless steel box with rounded corners. but that's gonna keep , got a bit burned out on sheet metal with the fender notch. So this one gets cleaned up and painted.
I have to choose a color, Black is kind of boring red maybe, goes with bumpers and sport bar padding. I have some urethane primer that is kind of tan, almost chocolate chip camo tan, going to use that anyway so will wait to see what that looks like.
Be sure to post up some pics when it's done and some installed. As far as radio antenna cables, I have seen them with a 90 degree end. I just don't know where to find them.
Ive had both sides tilt. I know the driver side tilts on the Laredo.

I realized the modification fun was about to start. Out came the measuring tape, the Sharpies and my DeWalt grinder. Not wanting to remove too much material from the steer knuckles, the caliper brackets 
and the bolt heads, the joy of install, mark, uninstall, grind, install, remark, uninstall, grind became tedious. Finally thinking I got it right, the problem of the disc brake dust shield arose. It would be impossible to mount with the supplied brackets. More "on the fly" modifications were necessary. 
Thank God for die grinders and reciprocating saws! Another problem: the width of the dust shield metal upon mounting made it necessary to insert flat washers between the two caliper mount brackets otherwise the rotor rubbed. This then made the bolt heads a 1/16th too high and coming in conflict with the inside of the rotor. Again, tear apart, grind, reinstall.
