What did you do to or with your CJ today?

I went in Best Buy the other day - listened to all the 5.25" speakers they had. To me, the kickers sounded the best. Only 60 bucks...... some of em went upwards of 160 a pair and sounded like . I'll see if I can find the RF's to listen to. I'll also be running an amp, and the head unit has Bluetooth capabilities.....

Today, finished priming the nose of my CJ7. Stripped and painted the rebuilt rear axle on my home-made axle cart.

Honestly I just read the reviews and decided on the RF's b/c of the price. Kicker has been around a long time and for a while we're the best in car audio. If you can get the Kicker's to fit then I'd go with them.

My CJ has a soft top that is never on it so between the Super Swamper's slapping the concrete and the Texas air flowing over my bald head. I probably couldnt tell the difference in sound quality. [emoji1598]

It's an epoxy primer, PPG brand. The finish 2k grey primer goes over it, then the paint.

HAHAHA - And I typed "Maid".....

And since I'm planing on wrapping the Jeep, and the dash is ready to hang, I was NOT about to sit down and wrapped those stupid screws. And finding a paint that matches would be dang near impossible. So I did em in satin black (I'm allergic to gloss black and chrome LOL)

Took my jeep for a ride to celebrate 33 years of ownership

Today she was painted Furious Fuscia, a Mopar color from 2013. Sort of pinkish red with lots of pearl. Now to reassemble after some color sanding and a light polish.

The pig is in her final resting place waiting on me to decide what Transmission mount and crossmember I want to make for it........ we are also in the middle negotiations on a new house :0
