I changed the gear oil in my T-150 and Transfer Case - I learned where my exhaust ticking is coming from. I have multiple muffler leaks, at the seams mainly.

I need muffler recommendations. I have true duals exiting at the rear corners with stock manifolds. As far as I know the engine is stock except for an Edelbrock Performer intake and Edel 4 barrel carb. I want to hear it but not too loud and I like the deep tones. I might replace the cam one day to one that a trained ear knows it's been changed (not too radical).

She sounds like a keeper!

My wife tells her friends about the time I somehow talked her into helping paint rooms in my house. This was circa 2001. I don’t remember it, but she does!

@Belizean I could of done all that work, but it would have cut into my beer drinking time.😅👍

Unfortunately I’m getting to where I can’t do some of that stuff without having some problems. We ran into a couple of typical Jeep problems and my friend was able to overcome them. He’s got practice with 2 7s and also 2 8s so CJs are his thing.

Many years ago I saw people covering it up instead of fighting it then.

That's a bummer! Diamond plate is a real Jeep killer. Reminds me when I left my CJ5 parked outside for a year with the top on and all the floor drains plugged. Bad times.

I took the last little bit (I believe) of slop out of my steering by adjusting the input shaft of the Saginaw box and readjusting the easy to get to adjustment on the top of it. So, my steering issues were: missing bushing behind the turn signal canceling assm in the column, lower steering shaft, loose front wheel bearings, worn drag link, and steering box out of adjustment. I believe I'm satisfied with it now, it's pretty dang good.

That’s a bad feeling when your Jeep isn’t driving where you are trying to get to

Started ordering sheet metal. I was able to get a piece of flat 18g, but ran into issues getting the wheel arch.

I’m not sure Key Parts is still alive. They aren’t showing any parts and don’t have any contact info listed.

Classic enterprises had a busy phone line. I’ll get through eventually, I hope, lol. Worst case I guess I’d be able to get the shape off the passenger side and copy. I’d rather not do that though!

I talked to the repair shop next to me about ordering a new drag link. He’s having trouble finding the long side. He looked at Napa, O’Reilly and Advance. I may have to go aftermarket for that. Odd.
