My "jeep in a box" restoration project...one box has the T-90 tranny and the other has the Dana 18 Transfer Case . Getting ready to go through these two cases and restore and reseal but I'm sure something is gone.

Where the two mate, at least a gear - maybe two idk - looks to be missing.

Any thoughts on what gear mates these two would be appreciated.

Or a nice Warn Overdrive with the correct spline and gear.:)

I'm guessing you'll need the 26 tooth gear.
But...you might need the 29 tooth gear.
Be aware of the 2 possibilities.
Especially when dealing with a Jeep in boxes.

I bought the 26 tooth gear. After I rebuilt the T-90 and 18 and mated the cases I went to slide on the 26 tooth gear and the splines were slightly too fat (the 18 has slender longer teeth) and it wouldn't quite mate up. It also looked like it was going to be off center ever so slightly holding the gear in place.

Turns out the T-90 is a T-90 J that maybe had a side shifter, so its not original to the Jeep, but it looks like the 18 is.

Long story short, if its not the 26 tooth gear, it has to be the 29, right?

Thanks for the tip, too!
