Dodge Dana 44 front with Detroit true trac and Dodge 9.25 rear with Detroit true trac and 1350 yokes all the way around
About to narrow both axles to 60 inches and add moser axles shafts

This is what the builder did with my jeep when he had it. My wheels and tires stick WAY out. I'm thinking that 60 inches sounds pretty good. Still wider than factory, but not so much as to look goofy as hell, or limit what trees you can fit between.

I like having the narrower axle with similar to factory Jeep width, 60 inches looks to be as narrow as I can get on the front with my wheel/tire combo without rubbing the :dung: out of the frame, I'm trying to tuck as much of my tire under my fender flare as possible

Are you cutting the housing yourself and welding on the new ends? Man, I want to learn to do this. Seems like it should be possible to just use the original ends once you get the excess cut off...

Yes, I have access to a lathe, a straight 1 1/4 round bar, and metal to turn into hockey pucks. I plan to chop and weld my housing to the 60 inches I want it at and use the moser taper roller bearings with their deep bearing Ford 9 inch housing ends that the axles come with. The trick will be to weld the housing ends on and the round bar still slide thru the pucks. I haven't done this before so I am pretty excited to have the equipment available to do it myself I will document it as I go

Those look real nice! That will be a great upgrade

Yes I think they will be an awesome upgrade for an already beefy strong axle, I am not wanting to be stuck on the trail with a broken axle shaft and I think these will do the job well

My original plan was to remove the tubes from the pumpkin........ found out that I did not have big enough equipment to get the tubes to move at all. So now I am going to cut the ends off and install new ones. you could reuse your old housing ends if room allows.

Woo Hoo I have a bellhousing on the way. I dont recognize their tracking number tho and they list their carrier as "other" I have emailed them to see if they know who Advance Adapters is using for shipping. On another sweet note I am going to start fabing up my hockey pucks tonight for the rear axle alignment jig

Usps ?

I will try them again
