It's not as heavy duty as a T-18 /NP435/NV4500 but it's a pretty good Transmission keep it you won't break it

Rock on, I have heard some decent stuff about it. Man they used to build jeeps with such decent drivetrain components back in the day.

I picked my 83 because it was in the best year range I wanted the wide trac axles Dana 300 Transfer Case and a T-5 behind the I6, the fully boxed frame as long as you keep the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l and stay in the 33" tire range the stock components will do good with a little beefing up, when my AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l died I wanted a V8 and I couldn't find a AMC 304 so I knew the stock drivetrain needed to go with as much as I like using the gas peddle

That's better, it's been bothering me for a few years about how big that bumper is now it looks more proportional to the size of the jeep, also ignore the body lift, it's still jacked up from me working on the rear crossmember and gas tank

When I m done there will be no body lift all spring over :chug:

lol its free come get it :D that came out of my daughter's Mini Cooper S for the life of me I cannot figure out why clyinder #4 wont fire, I checked the cam, rockers, pulled the head checked the head gasket, pistons, cylinder wall, it will hold 100psi of shop air thru the spark plug hole but the motor only runs on 3 cylinders so I got a used motor with 30k on it and it runs great. So I still have that motor sitting in the floor in my way

That's ok man, I don't have a Mini Cooper lol that's really weird though, why it won't fire.

your guess is as good as mine, that car has frustrated me to no end, I looked really hard to find a mechanical problem with that motor and I couldn't find one so I got one off ebay and moved on I have been meaning to put it on craigslist and shove it out the garage door free to the first person that hauls it off but just haven't got to it yet... maybe need to do it this week that would get me some more room in the garage

Do you take stuff to the scrap yard? Maybe get a bunch of scrap metal together and add that in. Get a little money for the cj lol

I think the most I have gotten is 60 bucks. It's never much but Better than just tossing it if it won't sell

Scrapping is hard work, I don't have room anymore with the new house to accumulate much
