1 down 3 to go, these will hold the 1.5 inch alignment bar centered in the axle when I go to narrow the rear

How much are you gonna narrow it?

Can't wait to see how they come out. I would be scared to do this myself. I hate how far the wheels and tires stick out with my CJ5 's full size Dodge truck axles. I want them narrowed, but I'll have to have it done professionally.

narrowing your axles are not the cheapest thing that we can do on a Jeep for sure, Im looking at have $700 in parts for the rear alone and an additional $1000 for the front

When my housing ends show up Tuesday I can finish mill my housing end hockey pucks and narrow my rear axle :chug:

I drilled my early housing to match my late model bell housing, trying to get the pilot bearing out so I can get the new bushing in.... the wife is at work so it's hard to get out to the garage, I hope to have the Transmission in the Jeep this weekend

Super monumental day for me...... the pig is in and the bell housing is a tight fit around the flywheel it makes me so happy to see my Transmission in place.
