Did you do the OME spring conversion?

nope, I used a set of factory YJ springs, really easy to do, I would like a set of OME springs but that will have to wait for now

It is installed on a heck of a lot of diesel vehicles because they do not create vacuum so the system has proven itself to work well for many many years, I thought that it would cost me a lot more money to do a hydro boost than what it is costing me right now, I will have a complete system for around $200 and that’s using parts store parts not junkyard Look at thisguyyouknow thread he did more than one swap himself

I have owned several Diesel trucks that had the Hydro on them. What is the biggest advantage to switching over ?

I have the stock brakes on my 80 CJ7 , it slides to a stop pretty well but takes a bit of foot pressure, I may have to try another Jeep with the upgrade to see if it will be something I might want to do later on, especially if its a cheap mod. Thanks for the link btw :)

Stock tires? Stock booster?

The 1995 YJ dual diaphragm booster is $95 at orielly auto it’s a special order but will reduce the pedal effort for you

Hmm I would think that as long as you have stock brakes you would want to keep stock MC

Would keep the stock master cylinder.

Man it feels so good to be behind the wheel of my CJ again, amazing how much tighter it feels with 4 shocks and 9 out of the 11 body mounts tight

Brake booster pretty much fried now so the hydro boost just moved up the priority list by a lot
