^^^^^^What he said^^^^^^^. I went with the MC 2100 a couple of years ago and been very happy with it.Motorcraft 2100 or 2150. Simple easy and cheap.
The latest hot setup is the Holley Sniper for Jeep CJ's. Much better than a carb as it does a better job of metering the fuel. It is particularly good if you are driving in the mountains at altitudes over 5000 ft on or off road.
