Emergency Drive Light

So I don't know if this belongs in this forum, but after about 25-30 min of driving the Emergency Drive light comes on. I understand that it should come on when in 4WD or 4 Low right? I've pulled over each time this has happened and checked the hubs and the 4wd shifter, all of which seem to be fine. Even locking and unlocking the hubs and placing the 4wd shifter into Neutral doesn't seem to make the light go off. I will assume that a sensor or something else is bad right? Any idea how or where the sensor is, or any other thoughts on what the issue might be? Thanks!

Not familiar with the Dana 20 , but if it's similar to the 300 there will be a switch (probably on top) on the Transfer Case with a wire attached to it.
