That is one hell of a great contraption. Perfectly working generator. I wish I could have that... Beautiful!
As far as the F engine, unfortunately they are all the same. Mas produced and hundreds of thousands still working. A great engine.

Given how much things get replaced, I would go that the dipstick is from 56-62. The engine may have last been swapped into said 56-62 for a time before being attached to the generator. Or maybe they needed a dipstick and pulled one from a junk yard.
