Drive my CJ7 for the 1st time at night, noticed how dim all lamps were inside at max setting. Is it advisable to replace the lamps with newer ones. Referring to the gauges and dash lamps. If you have can i see some before and after shots? Thanks

I have. I went led. I'll find the pics of the gauge and the bulbs I used

Yes, are they dimmable? Also i replaced all of mine in a 2011 Tahoe. Purchased from ledpartsnow. They lasted only a year before they were out. Jeeps are much more difficult to replace than those. Willing to bet none will work like the lamps i have now running since 83.

I did mine in 19 not one issue since and quite easy to do. just make sure you put them in the right way. They will go in either way but only work one way.

And yes they are dimmable

The dimmable LEDs are great. I replaced my gauges with a Dakota Digital setup that is all LED, white faced, and works great. I did replace the under-dash courtesy lights with LEDs and also installed a different rearview mirror on the windshield that has map lights in it and I put LED bulbs in there as well. I then replaced the bulbs inside the control indicators (heater cables, headlight switch and wiper switch) with LEDs as well. After doing all the exterior lights with LEDs, no more regular bulbs anywhere. All LED inside and out now.

Love to see them in action!

Here's a few shots:

LED front blinkers and side markers; under dash courtesy lamps; LED headlights; Dakota Digital gauges and LED markers for the heat/air cables, etc; LED map lights in the rearview mirror, and of course LED tail lights. And FYI - the blue ring to the left of the heat/air cable marker lights right above the wiper switch is my push button start.

Thanks for the replies guys, the LED's on amazon listed above are unavailable. Can you guys recommend any others that you are currently using or have had no issues with. I have had my share of troubles with different brands and i know LEDs are sensitive to vibration it seems and my Jeep puts off more vibration than some of my wifes items. :)
