Hey everybody, back with another couple questions question! First of all, thanks to the help of forum members, I now know that my tub is from 76/77 while
I think both the engine and tranny are from 74. I plan to check the rear passenger side wheel well this afternoon to see if the frame SSN matches the VIN. I feel like I need to know everything I got before I start making purchases and replacing things. Any other things/places I should check for that would help me identify some of the parts on this CJ?
Second, the jeep is running and driving and I enjoy having the option of taking it out on weekend cruises even while I am working on fixing it up. So, I want to make sure all the lights work so no one rear ends me or anything. I discovered this weekend that while my hazards work both front and back, my turn signals do not (front or back). I found the 2 flashers hanging behind the dash (there is no fuse panel) and replaced the one that wasn't ticking. Nothing. I tried to follow the wires from that flasher up into a mess of electrical tape, cut away as much of it as I could, but could not find an inline fuse. One of the wires is white while the other is a redish pink. Do these 2 colors sound right and if so, which one would have the inline fuse? Where should I expect to find this inline fuse? Do you think the PO could have wrapped it in tape along with all the other wires behind the dash or am I looking in the wrong place?

Thanks in advance for the help!
