Help with seat risers, im too tall

I am 6'5" tall and my knee is always into the sterring wheel and door when i shift. Im kicking around ideas on modifying the riser and slider to move it back some. Any tall guys in here that has done any mods like this?

You could remove the seat adjuster and drill in new seat hole locations to your normal seat adjustment. Best top makes a CJ seat mounting bracket that is a bit shorter than your existing. If you have an aftermarket seat they usually are a bit thicker than the oem, so maybe a bit of shopping around might turn up something. I purchased the Best Top Trailmax II seats and they and they are a lot thicker than oem and have to make adjustments for a comfortable fit.

If you seat does not have the flip option you should be able to cut down the s or z bar set up to drop it an inch or two at least. Id have to double check but Im pretty sure there is at least that much wiggle room there
