1980 CJ7. Iron Duke 4cyl., SR4, Dana300, Dana 30 with aussie locker, AMC 20 with detroit locker and 4.88 gearing, welded and trussed axle housing, one piece axles. 33x12.5 tires
I cant decide if this is oil or carbon coming from my tail pipe. any idea?

If posting allthese questions under different headings was wrong, moderators please merge them together. I wanted to avoid asking a million questions in one post but if thats easier to follow please merge them together. thanks.
 
I have had excessive carbon buildup from just not taking it on the freeway to clean it out. There are things you might want to consider like a muffler and cat with just too much crud in them and spark plug deposits will show just how it is burning inside. A compression check will also show you how the piston rings and valves are doing.
 
I believe you running rich.
Your drag link is bent as well.
 
To rich fuel mix.
Can't see the drag link to make a call.
Post some detailed pictures of it.
Make sure you are running the CORRECT spark plugs for you engine. The wrong heat range('cold')will cause this.
Make sure your choke opens all the way when the engine is warm.
